  • Welcome to Kalopsia academy! The number one academy in the united states. As apart of Intro to Graphic Arts, we have decided to design a visual guide for all prospective and aspiring students of kalopsia academy.

 #01: need-based  : All students are automatically considered for need-based aid! several questions on the application ask about your parent's financial status, so fill it out together for the most accurate results! kalopsia evaluates income based on city, family size, country and more factors each unique family's need. it is important to note that kalopsia recieves a lot of money from the state and federal government to prioritize us-based students, so don't be afraid to apply if youf it the criteria! if you're an international student, don't fear, you are still analyzed for need based and have other scholarships to supplement if needed!

 #02 World-leader scholarship  :   If you are someone who is from a country other than the United States of America and does not hold U.S. citizenship you should apply here! these are for exceptional students internationally who need additional aid in the country. Kalopsia reserves 50 scholarships with full tuition & board and 25 for full tuition each year for incoming freshman! There are no additional requirements but it is highly encouraged that:
- You have had an impact on your local community
- You have experience with English or speak english fluently
- You demonstrate interest in Kalopsia

 ATTENTION!!!  :   One of Kalopsia's core beliefs is that all students who fit the values and qualities Kalopsia is looking for should attend. And Kalopsia goes to any length to make sure students can attend. if you ever are lacking with resources please reach out to your headmaster! (we also reccomend leveraging past scholarships from other private academies you've applied to!)

 #03 House-specific scholarships  :  Each house has scholarships for the students admitted into them! generally they require fulfilling the values of each house, but it is unknown the explicit criteria for each houses's scholarship. current scholarship recipents reccomend focusing on matching into a house and build a well-rounded profile but with a clear focus on things that your desired house also focuses on. For example, House Caesar values community, family and commitment as well as students who excel academically and athletically!.

 #04 Merit-based scholarships  :  Did you have a 4.0 all throughout your education before application? Did you take the PSAT or sat and get a perfect score? are you a junior world math champion? then kalopsia may have a scholarship for you! the only criteria for a merit-based scholarship is that you have "earnedcholars or demonstrated a significant amount or form of merit". merit-based scholarships are unique to each indvidual and range from half-tuition to full-tuition and board.

  • There are 4 houses in kalopsia academy. admitted freshman are admitted directly into a house and transferring inbetween is very difficult and undesirable.

  • house caesar focuses on atheletics and academics. They look to emulate old rome and their namesake Julius caesar.

  • House psyke focuses on law, politics, social justice. They attempt to see into the soul, both of themselves and others

  • House cleopatra is all about beauty, a wonder to behold. they focus on the arts including dance, painting, graphic design (us!) and more. (best house!)

  • house quetzlcoatl is hard to pin down. the smallest house, they often become essential workers such as firefighters, nurses, teachers and more.

 FINANCIAL AID  :   A whopping 20% of students are on a form of financial aid and scholarships due to kalopsia's iniative to support underrealized talent.
 FACULTY : STUDENT RATIO  :   The faculty to student is a 7:1, being on par with harvard!
 LARGEST HOUSE  :  House of Caesar is the oldest and largest house in the school
 POST-GRADUATION  :  50% of students go on to Ivy League schools while a remaining 48% go on to the Top 25 schools in the world. Overall, 98% of students pursue high-level undergraduate (or even graduate) education.
 AWARDS  :  Kalopsia academy boasts being the only high-school level institution to have over 50 Nobel Prize Laureates and Pulitizer Prize nominees and winners.

  • Did you know Kalopsia Academy used to be a castle? Here are the primaballerina and her friends practicing within one of the few preserved rooms known as "Star Center".

  • This is in the House Cleopatra's wing which has preserved most of the original architecture.

  • The Star center is a private room reserved for principal dancers and exceptional soloists within the ballet program in House Cleopatra.

KALOPSIA ACADEMY WAS ESTABLISHED IN THE 18TH CENTURY BY HENRY WALTER. oRIGINALLY AN ACADEMY WITH NO HOUSES, KALOPSIA ACADEMY EXPANDED AND TRANSFORMED DUE TO THEIR STUDENTS CREATING HOUSES AND KALOPSIA EVENTUALLY INCORPORATING IT INTO THE SCHOOL SYSTEM. AT IT'S HEIGHT KALOPSIA ACADEMY HAD 5 HOUSES, THE 5TH WAS EVENTUALLY DESTROYED DURING WW2.

EACH HOUSE'S WING HAS ELEMENTS OF DIFFERENT ARCHITECTURE. House Caesar boasts Roman-era columns and courtyards sprinkled throughout. House Psyke has a private temple that was constructed inspired from the ones in Ancient Greece. House Cleopatra has murals and paintings reminscient of Ancient Eygpt and some of Ancient Greece and House Quetzlcoatl has elements of architecture throughout the world. Perhaps most electic you can stay Mexica-styled statues as well as bathhouse recreated from the ones in Seville.
